The Confidence Challenge is completed here: Confidence Challenge

Day 1. I am Strong

A month ago I would have never been able to post this picture anywhere. I didn't have the confidence. I wasn't comfortable in my own skin, but changing my attitude & thinking more positive has completely changed my life. I am in charge of my happiness. This is my body and I love it. I'm definitely not perfect, but I accept all of the imperfections.

My body tells a story. A story of a woman turned mother. A body that birthed life. The story of a mom who hasn't managed to lose the baby weight, but knows she hasn't put as much effort in it as she should. A mom who gets so busy during the day to take the time & make healthy food choices instead of fast ones. A mom who understands that I can make a change in my lifestyle to become healthier but just hasn't made the time for it.

I have put my body through a lot in the last 3 years. I lost 10 lbs to join the military & then my training and awful tasteless food pushed me to lose 30 more pounds. About 6 months later I found out I was pregnant, and eventually gained 30 lbs back! My body & mind are my strengths. I know that whatever I put my mind to I have the strength to get through it.

Day 2. I am Beautiful

I truly believe that. Does that make me vain? No because I know most of my beauty comes from within. I can go makeup free & rock it. Most of the time though I put on makeup so I don't look as tired! Ladies there is nothing wrong with it! Don't ever let anyone tell you that you aren't beautiful because you have "too much" makeup on! It's not their face tell them to stop looking or to go away you don't need that kind of negativity in your life!

God chose you to be you, don't waste it pretending to be someone else!

Me & My ever changing hair!
