Getting the Babies Back on Schedule

I wish they were this little still!

Today is the first day of the year I'm going to have Camila & Noah all to myself! I can honestly say I'm so not ready. Coffee is about to be my best friend! I also have so much planning, and writing to do to get ready for the rest of the year, yesterday felt like part of the weekend & not like a Monday!

Camila

Before the winter break our Daily schedule was as follows:

7:00-7:30 AM The struggle to wake up is so real.
8:00 AM Noah is back to sleep (& if Camila woke up when Noah got here she's back to sleep!)
10:00 AM Both babies are awake and roaming all over the place! (It's super hard to contain them, but they keep each other busy playing and taking all, & I mean all, their toys out of the Toy box!)
11:30 AM Nap time! Both babies are in their swings, or eating and Baby TV's Jammers is on.
12:00-12:30 AM Between this time the babies are awake and ready to move around once again!
2:00-2:15 PM Nap #2
2:45-3:00 PM They wake up & my sisters are back home to help out with Noah
3:00 - 5:00 PM Babies are awake for good until My Dad comes to get Noah & Jeff is home!

I can feel it in my bones that the babies are going to give me hell today because now that they've gotten use to everyone being around, being carried when they want, sleeping at whatever time, and mostly not being with each other all day their schedules are all thrown off! Noah is usually harder to handle, I think it's just because he's a boy, because he's all over the place and requires a lot more attention. (He's a baby diva)

How I'm going to tackle today

I'm going to drink lots of coffee and try to stick to our normal schedule as much as possible. I'm not going to force them to it though. I'll let them guide me through their day, maybe we'll make a new schedule! I'll keep you posted!

Wish me luck!

How do you handle getting back in routine after long breaks?
