Mother's Day Gift Ideas: Staycation at Hotel Ylem

This post is in collaboration with Hotel Ylem, however, all opinions are 100% my own true opinions.

Mother's day gifts have always been a hard thing for me to chose for my mom because I know she deserves so much more than a bouquet of flowers. My philosophy is to go big or go home. So why not treat your mom or wife with a nice relaxing night away from home. It doesn't even have to be far it can be right in your own city, like at Hotel Ylem

Pin for later!
Not everyone thinks of staycations when it comes to thinking of gift ideas, but they're literally the perfect gift. You don't have to travel too far, it's convenient when making dinner reservations, & Hotel Ylem has an amazing bar selection so you can grab a drink before taking a short uber ride to downtown!

Hotel Ylem invited me over a couple of months ago before it was open to the public to stay and get the full Hotel Ylem experience and let me tell you it was like nothing I've ever experienced. When you walk in you can really tell that you're staying at a one of a kind hotel. There is such a difference in staying at a boutique hotel & a chain hotel. I've stayed at both, and a boutique hotel just feels more personal and like a home away from home.

Not only is Hotel Ylem beautiful but it has a purpose. "Our primary goal is to sponsor a water project every year allowing an entire community in remote parts of the world to have clean water to drink. To achieve this goal, we have committed 100% of sales from our 79 in-room minibars, and a percentage of sales from the main bar and art gallery to charity:water. Additionally, those booking a room can choose the charity:water rate which adds an additional $10 donation to the organization."

After you've spent a night in their super comfy beds, you can wake up to gourmet donuts from Eat Glazed in the breakfast area as well as a ton of other breakfast options!

I felt right at home when I stayed at Hotel Ylem with my fellow Houston bloggers. Remember when shopping for that special gift for mom, memories are the most valuable of all!
