Happy National Cheese Curd Day | Our First Time Trying Cheese Curds

When we first heard of cheese curds we had no idea what they were! My husband, Jeff, asked me if they were a specific way you made it different to what regular cheese is, but I had no idea and was super excited to try something new! Culver's invited us to try their one of a kind Wisconsin cheese curds, and I'm always down to try new things with cheese involved because you can't really go wrong. Cheese curds are bite sized chunks of white and yellow cheddar in it's freshest state.

Since Culver's is such a brand new experience for us we couldn't help but order a little bit of everything. Jeff & I tried the deluxe butter bacon burgers, Mila got a warm cup of chicken noodle soup (one of her faves!), and we each got an order of cheese curds to try.

Jeff was pleasantly surprised and almost ate all of our cheese curds, and Mila surprisingly dunked hers in her soup and said it was yummy. I would have never guessed that I'd be able to tell the difference between other cheese's and Wisconsin cheese, but it's truly an experience as a Texan to be able to try these cheese curds!

Mila brought along her Curdis, the cutest curd nerd, and said it was thirsty! Going to Culver's was definitely a one of a kind experience because their menu is so diverse there is literally something that everyone is going to love.
