Fun Family Activities On Carnival Cruise Ships

Thanks to the amazing people of Carnival Cruise's we took a 7-day cruise to the western Caribbean during the 2nd week of November, the perfect time to take a long family cruise. The weather was amazing, and the people on the ship made us feel right at home. I was a little nervous because I wasn't sure how we were going to keep my toddler occupied during the cruise, but boy was I worried about nothing. Carnival has a super cool app for your phone with activities and events for every day of your stay on board that lets you pre-plan in advanced and create a schedule that you can share with your family! There is literally something for you to do every hour and we were a little disappointed that we didn't have enough time to try all of them. Here I've listed some of the top family activities you shouldn't miss out on while on a Carnival Cruise ship!

Suess-a-Palooza Parade & Story Time

We had the best time making as much noise as we could during the parade, and then Mila my 2-year-old surprisingly sat down in amazement during the entire story! This is included in your cruise & I wouldn't miss it!

Green Eggs & Ham Breakfast

I ate the most delicious fruit-loop covered french toast, and Mila was so excited to see the cat in the hat! The breakfast is extra but so worth the smiles on their little faces. Also, the food on the menu is delicious! Even for grown-ups haha

Build-a-Bear Workshop At Sea

This was Mila's first Build-A-Bear and she won't let it leave her sight now! The workshop is an extra fee but your kiddos get to make their very own Build-A-Bear that will be better than all the other souvenirs you buy during the trip!

Towel Animal Theater

Coming back to our rooms after breakfast and seeing these cute little towel animals was the highlight of Mila's day, so when we found out at the end of the cruise they teach you how to make a few & they put on a show literally made her life! Her favorites were the dinosaur & the monkey.

Dive-In Movies

From Boss Baby, Cars 3, to Wonderwoman the Dive-in Movies were the perfect way to end the night for us. The breeze on the ocean and the stars out there are like nothing you've ever seen or experienced! Make sure you take a blanket though, it gets a little chilly especially if you're sitting near the doors.

Water Slides & Pools

Mila is afraid of waterspouts and parks, but this time she seriously had a blast on this slide! She didn't want to leave.

Camp Ocean

Since Mila is an only child and it's hard to make a good friend in the pool the Camp Ocean was the perfect place for my little sea creature to make friends while on the cruise ship. It also gave us a couple of hours to enjoy a massage at the Cloud 9 Spa or a drink at the bar. They do provide you with a satellite phone just in case you're kiddo isn't doing too well, they can give you a ring.
