As Mila's birthday approached, we searched for ways to celebrate her and celebrate the fact that we've made it this far. We decided that taking a family trip where we would have something to enjoy would be the best thing! The dates were set, and off we went on an early summer road trip to Kalahari Resorts in the GMC Yukon AT4.
Becoming parents has been one of the scariest and most rewarding milestones we've reached in our lives. And while they aren't milestones for everyone, getting to year 6 with Mila and her being such a fantastic kid was definitely something to celebrate.
We've learned that this journey through parenthood is seriously one wild ride, and sometimes you just have to go with the flow. Like the GMC AT4, I know that we can always handle whatever adventure life throws at us as long as Jeff & I have each other to lean on.
A huge thanks to the team at GMC for thinking about us and gifting us with the total treat-yo-self moment at Kalahari! After a fun, eventful day at the waterpark, we went downstairs to the spa and enjoyed a relaxing 3 hours of manicures, pedicures, massages, and spa pools. We loved being able to relax and reflect on the last 6 years and decide what the next 6 years will look like in parenthood.
