The Good Dinosaur: A Movie Review

Since Camila & Noah are still too little to go to the movie theater but I still wanted to see the movie I invited my sisters and my 10 year old cousin to watch the movie. On a cold Monday night we made the 30 minute drive to Regal Edwards Grand Palace, a movie theater I had yet to go to in Houston. My cousin came over this weekend to go to the babies dedication but stayed just to watch this movie!

Once situated in our seats with snacks we anxiously awaited for the movie to start. The animated short "Sanjay's Super Team" is definitely one to pay attention to! It's the first short ever directed by an Indian-American in association with Pixar, and can I say super cute & rooted in family values.

Then "The Good Dinosaur" started & we were glued to our seats. I saw the preview but wasn't exactly sure what to expect! Was it going to be a funny kids movie that adults were going to fall asleep to? Absolutely not! This movie made the entire theater laugh, cry, and feel exactly what Arlo, The Good Dinosaur, was feeling. We hurt with him, and went on an epic journey with him as he befriended a human boy, all while learning the power of facing his fears.

This is such a great movie to take your kids, & grand-kids to after you all eat an amazing Thanksgiving dinner! But get the tissues ready! You're in for quite a ride!

The Good Dinosaur is in theaters Thanksgiving Day
