I am just coming off of a Hispanicize high, one filled with inspiration & empowerment. I never expected this experience to be so one of a kind but it exceeded my expectations and so much more. JCPenney invited a few beautiful ladies to get styled for the Tecla Awards that happened at the end of the conference. I was beyond excited when I got the email because I had really no idea what to wear or what to expect since this was my first year attending the conference, and I honestly didn't want to spend a fortune on a nice dress but I knew that JCPenney's prices that are aligned with my budget so I was happy to have them style me for the Tecla Awards!
A nice limo picked us up from the JW Marriot Marquis where the conference was taking place and whisked us off to the nearest JCPenney where they sent me to the Sephora inside JCPenney to do my makeup.
After that we were off to the fitting room that was closed just for us where we met out personal stylist that picked out a couple of options just for us.
I loved the options my stylist picked out for me but decided I wanted something a little more formal than what she had chosen for me. I followed her around the store where she led me to the most beautiful dress I had ever seen!
Sadly it didn't fit but the dress I ended up taking home was even better! I had expected to spend at least $150 for a more formal dress but I spent a total of $100 for the dress, shoes & accessories which I thought was a steal!
For the moms that have girls going to prom in a couple of months & are on a smaller budget JCPenney has some amazing on trend dresses for the lowest prices! I'll link my favorites below.👇
