Mother’s Day has to be one of my favorite holidays because in my opinion my mom isn’t celebrated enough. Every year we kind of do the same thing and make her breakfast buy her flowers & shower her in gifts. This year though I want to invest more in encouraging her to continue following her dreams and doing more of what makes her happy. She has always been my biggest supporter and I couldn’t chase my dreams without her, so it’s only fair that I do whatever I can to help her.
My mom is an amazing cake artist, she has such a gift that I think she should pursue full time but taking a chance on your dreams is scary, believe me, I know, so until she’s ready all I can do is encourage and help her build the tools she has. While I would have loved to get her a stove this year, a new Kitchen Aid Mixer from JCPenney will have to do!
Moms are always there when you need them the most, even when you don’t even know that you need them. It really wasn’t until I became a mom that I really understood how much my own mom did for me. I want to always encourage my mom as much as she encourages me.
