Summer Recipes: Michelada Popsicles

Summer is in full swing here in Texas (Tbh it's been in full swing since like last winter😅) and I've made my little munchkins more popsicles than I can count because they just love being outside in this heat and they love cooling down on the sweet treats I make them, but every now and then, I wonder what it would taste like if I froze some of my favorite adult drinks? 😏 Thus the Michelada popsicle was born! It also helps that I Love Micheladas sent me 2 bottles of they're drool worthy mix to try. Now you can enjoy your alcohol without any judgment because no one will ever know what's in it, but now my secret is out lol.

Things You Need:

The Recipe

  1. Mix your I Love Michelada Mix with lime juice, salt & Tajin in a bowl (mix well)
  2. Add 12 oz can of beer into the mixture, mix gently to avoid beer foam
  3. Pour into Popsicle molds
  4. Freeze overnight

They were so easy to make and didn't need so many ingredients because the michelada mix is so good ( I could honestly make a popsicle without the beer and it would be delicious!)  This recipe is ideal for summer days, and family barbeques so your Abuela and tias don't judge you for drinking 😂 but make sure you have some popsicles for your kids nearby because they will throw fits because they want yours!
